No, you can’t change your family members. That said you can work to spend less time with some people who are not such a good influence around you. This also goes for any friends that are not making your life better.

While your appearance should always be what you want, you may be feeling as if others question you.
Again, be the person you want to be.
That said you can take some steps to change up your appearance.
As an example, are you unhappy with your grooming efforts? It may come down to you not having the right products.
